MSHoops is the coordination hub for Microsoft's internal basketball leagues, built to keep a large, fast-moving league organized in one place.
It supports player registration, team roster management, authentication, notifications, and real-time game scheduling for 400+ employees across 40+ teams.
The app is season-aware, so the active season drives what users see across the site. That keeps the homepage stats, games list, team directory, player directory, standings, and playoff bracket aligned with the current season instead of mixing in older data.
It also supports the operational side of running the league: admins can create and edit seasons, generate schedules, create and reschedule games, mark results, manage standings, and publish league-wide announcements. Players can register, manage their profiles, browse teams, join or leave rosters, and track their own games and standings.
